This report summarizes The Next Economy Entrepreneurship program achievements. It goes to the number of entrepreneurship participants touched by the program from 2016 – 2020, number of participants finished course sessions, number of entrepreneurs succeeded to create their own businesses and the income particulars generated by the graduate entrepreneurs together with their gender segregation.
From December, 2016 – January, 2020 The Next Economy program in Mogadishu conducted by Iftin Foundation succeeded to train 198 young elite university graduates for entrepreneurship education plus core life skills education while they have been engaging continues entrepreneurship trainings and helped them to establish their business ventures. 167 out of 198 which equivalent (84.3%) reached boot-camp event (graduate stage). 132 out of 167 finalists which equivalent (79%) created their own businesses and are now relaxing with their business endeavors and making gradual income profits. The Next Economy entrepreneurs were provided entrepreneurship education and trainings while had taken twelve (12) core entrepreneurship sessions by professional trainers under Iftin Foundation during three consecutive months plus three entrepreneurship training event sessions by external business scholars.
