Iftin Foundation

Youth Leadership Engagement

Iftin Foundation believes that the future of a prosperous society rests in the hands of Somali youth, provided they are empowered with leadership skills and a sense of civic duty. Our youth engagement programs at Iftin Foundation are designed to bridge the gap between potential and action, equipping young Somali men and women with the confidence and strategic tools needed to drive social change and contribute to national development.

Through intensive leadership academies and mentorship, we train Somali youth in ethical decision-making, public speaking, and community organizing to ensure they can navigate the complexities of modern governance. We create platforms for meaningful inclusion by facilitating youth-led advocacy groups and policy roundtables where young Somali voices can directly influence decision-makers on issues ranging from employment to social justice. Our outreach efforts specifically target marginalized youth in remote areas, ensuring that leadership opportunities are accessible to all Somali youth, regardless of their background.

We also integrate digital literacy and innovation into our leadership curriculum, preparing the next generation of Somali youth to lead in a globalized, tech-driven world. By fostering a culture of initiative and responsibility, Iftin Foundation is nurturing a cohort of visionary Somali leaders who are ready to transform their communities and build a resilient, forward-thinking nation.
