The Iftin Foundation recently concluded a highly successful two-day training workshop focused on Education Policy Analysis. The event was dedicated to discussing how Somalia’s education acts and policies can be made more integral, inclusive, and consistent, considering the country’s specific circumstances. The ultimate goal is to ensure that all citizens have access to their educational rights and learning opportunities.

Throughout the two days of training, participants engaged in practical lessons and vibrant discussions. These sessions provided valuable insights and culminated in the issuance of joint statements. These statements emphasized the importance of respecting and promoting education for disadvantaged and vulnerable populations in Somalia. Key areas of focus included education for underprivileged children, disabled children, and girls, as well as expanding educational opportunities for adults.

The training underscored the Iftin Foundation’s commitment to social entrepreneurship and its pivotal role in advocating for educational development, peace, and participation in politics and public life. By engaging with the community and stakeholders, organizing forums, conducting continuous studies, and employing innovative means, the foundation strives to create lasting positive change.

The Iftin Foundation remains dedicated to fostering an inclusive educational environment where every individual, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to learn and grow. This training is a significant step toward achieving that vision, reflecting the foundation’s unwavering commitment to educational advocacy and community empowerment.
